Does anyone know if there is a Dell equivalent to the HP RDP for DS?  I have only been able to find the "Deployment Solution for Dell Servers".

Deployment Solution for Dell Servers should be exactly what you want.  Rapid Deployment Pack from HP is nothing but a re-branded Deployment Solution that also includes a jobs specific to HP hardware, as well as built-in iLO functionality.  The only reason that we downloaded it (we already own Deployment Solution for Servers) was to get those HP-specific jobs.

That's what I'm looking for is the Dell hardware specific jobs (not for the servers but for the desktops/laptops/workstations).

Deployment Solution for Dell Servers does it's magic through what's called the Dell OpenManage Toolkit.  Basically a set of utilities to configure hardware.  If you're looking for similar functionality for desktops, I don't know of a solution that has been built specifically for that purpose.  However if you know how to create custom run script tasks through DS you can easily code up some small scripts to do some Dell desktop hardware configuration.

Here's some Dell specific configuration tools:

Also, I should also mention that the scripted OS deployment jobs included in Deployment Solution for Dell Servers should work just fine with desktops, it's just the hardware configuration portions that you wouldn't be able to use.

    Good luck,

Thanks for the help.  I found it (right under my nose).  If you goto the NS console it is listed right there as a solution to be installed.  The Altiris Dell Client Manager Solution.  I'm gonna give that a shot.
