  • 1.  Dell Vostro 1520 and smart card in XP

    Hi everyone,
    I've got a Dell Vostro 1520, I have changed the operating system to XP SP2,
    installed all the drivers from DELL driver CD, but there is one problem.
    When I install smart card reader it seems that everything is OK but after restart and on welcome screen a blue screen appears and then it restarts again.
    Only solution is to install windows again. I tried it 4 times, downloaded the driver from Dell website. Another thing is that it works fine under Vista.

    What is the STOP error code you get on the Blue screen.
    Google the exact error code and you might find your answer or atleast clue for your answer.
