Client Management Suite

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me here. I have just captured a XP image and successfully deployed it to the pc I used to create the image (HP 8200 Elite)

If i try to deploy that same image to a HP Compaq dc770 Ultra Slim Desktop, the ghost screen appears and it looks to have completed successfully then the following screen appears and then the task fails. There is no information as to why it has failed. All I get is return code 1.

I thought that uploading the storage driver for the 7700 to the drivers database (both preboot and deployanywhere) would be the issue but I have since done this, recreated the preboot environment and tried the deploy image job again but it still fails.

Any ideas as to what is causing this ? The storage driver is a WD800JD-60LSA5 and I downloaded the driver from here > http://support.wdc.com/product/download.asp?groupid=603&sid=9&lang=en (WD Serial ATA RAID Controller Card Driver)

Have you looked at the logs on the client?

You can view the logs under \Program Files\Altiris\Altiris Agnet\Logs\

Hopfully they will give you some kind of clue as to why it is failing. Also insure you have the correct network card uploaded.

In addition to this, you could run the DeployAnywhere with an eval switch to see what is missing.

I don't have the exact command but can come up with it if needed.
