Can someone please point me to where the Device Controls are defined.  For example, what does Endpoint consider "Storage Volumes"?

I have "Storage Volumes", "Floppy", and "Disk Drives" blocked, with "Imaging" and "CD/DVD Drives" white listed.  It is working great,or was until the group using cameras decided to buy card readers instead.  And CD burning is working as we want, but reading CD/DVD's is very slow or doesn't work.  Help with these issues would be appreciated, but I would like to see all the categories defined if possible.  Thank you.

Storage Volumes is a generic term used by Windows to define anything that can have media "written to it".  I.E.  Flash Drives, Smart Phones (with internal drives- flash, SD, etc.)  Also considered to be a storage volume would be anything externally connected via Fiber, ethernet or USB.  Your external card readers will fall under this category.

Disk Drives, most liley are interpreted as Floppy and Optical drives.  Some instances they may also be Hard Disk Drives.  However, seeing as how you are not having problems with the system not loading the controllers/drives, likely only affecting optical/floppy.

Find the Device ID for your Card Reader and put it in the excluded list using DevViewer Tool.
