Device Exclusions in SERS - is access utility still copied

    In Symantec Endpoint Encryption Removable Storage (SERS), if I add a drive to device exclusions (exclude these removable storage devices from encryption), do they still have the access utility copied over, or are they excluded from that as well?

    We have a Barco Clickshare usb dongle which is used to share the desktop screen to a video telecon screen.

    I need to check if they actually have storage first. 

    but the user is complaining about the access utility being copied.

     

    obviously I could test this , but you'd save me some time if someone happens to know.
