  • 1.  different OS for migration

    Posted Dec 14, 2018 07:30 AM

I am planning to migrate my SEP 14.x from windows server 2008 to WS 2016.

I am having SEPM in replication with embedded database.

i am planning to migrate one SEPM on 2016 tomorrow to 2016, after monitoring I will migrate other sepm to 2016 OS.

My question is - can i enable replication is the SEPM version is same but operating system is different?

in this case - SEPM 14.x operating system -2016 and SEPM 14.x operating system - 2008

As long as the SEPM version matches, then SEP replication will work fine.
