What's the question? This is self-explanatory. It indicates when it scanned, how many files it looked at, how much data was in those files and if there were any issues.

    Pretty straight forward.

I don't recall anything from the documentation or anywhere online; this may be one for SYMC to reply. That or open a case.  indecision

    G'luck with it.

If you must explain this further to your management, there's only really one way:

    3/13/14 8:00:06 PM

    INFO

Finished 2,717 items, 6,060,123 bytes; filtered 0 items

"At 8:00:06 PM on March 13th 2014, the DLP scan inspected a batch of 2717 files, which represented approximately 6 MB of data.  Based on the configuration of the scan filters, no items were filtered from scanning in this batch.  It then went on to scan X items in the next batch and filtered Y items...and so on...and so on..."

As mentioned above, it's pretty self-explanatory.  The explanation is probably more complex than the events list.  If you could help us understand which part of this is not being understood, you might get a more complete answer.
