  • 1.  Disk space required for installation of the agent

    Posted Aug 25, 2015 05:40 AM

    Hi,

I just installed my Symantec CCS agent on a Linux system. It takes 370Mo and Data Collection job failed due to the fact that some disk space was missing (I have 400Mo in my /opt where is installed the agent).

I know that the data collected are by default blocked to 30Mo, but I want to know how many place I need for everything ?

    See you

Anyone have information regarding the disk space needed ?

    EDIT:

Enter the directory where you wish the ESM files to be placed or a '?'
to see what partitions have sufficient disk space to install ESM.
If the string "esm" is not part of the path, "symantec/esm" will be added to it.
The directory will be created if it does not already exist. Note that an
ESM Agent installation requires approximately 92 Megabytes of disk space.
