  • 1.  DKIM Key Expiration

    Hi,

    When enabling DKIM signing on a domain we need to fill the "Signature expiration".

    1. What happens after expiry?
    2. From what instant does that "timer" start counting time?
    3. Is there any best practice for that value?
    4. Si this something specific to SMG or an industry standard?

    Hi,

    http://dkim.org/specs/rfc4871-dkimbase.html - explanation of value x=

    1. depends on the implementation

    2. represented as an absolute date

    3. depending on your sec policy i would always expire any certs, dkim is a cert too

    4. common standard, rfc 5585 etc
