    Hi Everyone,

We want to restrict the endpoint users from uninstalling the Symantec client from there respected systems. So  kindly help us with the steps for doing that.

    appreciate any help.

    Thanks

    Hello,

How are you creating the DLP Agent packages? You can create an Agent that will need password to be uninstalled (common practise I believe).

For example, creating an Agent package using the DLP Administration console:

    • Go to System \ Agents \
    • Agents Packaging

On bottom there is an option to insert a Password that will be need in order to uninstall the agent (Unnistall Password Key).

    Cheers,

    Morgado

Probably you dont have full access to the DLP console. Apply an Admin Role to your DLP User ID.

You are missing "Agents" in that List. So go to Login Management / Roles/ .. select the Role you are using (associated to your DLP User) and review it's configuration. From what I see above your role deosnt have Full Access to DLP console.

Whats the DLP version you are running? If your DLP Role it's correctly configured (full access to all options) try to use a different browser such as IE11.

    hello

strange, it looks like you have no endpoint license installed on your system.

Agent menu appears when you add a valid endpoint license. if you should have one installed, check if your endpoint license is still valid in System/Settings/General.

     Regards.
