Data Loss Prevention

Hello all , I am trying to install DLP Agent . This is the setting configured in the installagent. bat

I am installing DLP agent with this

msiexec /i AgentInstall.msi /q INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent\" ENDPOINTSERVER="192.168.1.199" KEY="" UNINSTALLPASSWORDKEY="DC8AE8706AE12F923748E2CDB3784AA5D61618DE" SERVICENAME="EDPA" WATCHDOGNAME="WDP" ARPSYSTEMCOMPONENT="1"

I have generated the password using the tool provided with DLP media but during the installation  it doesnt picks up automatically the Endpoint Prevent server IP and un installation password. Please tell me what mistake I am making.

 

Secondly I am trying to configure a policy for Endpoint Prevent that will basically monitor and log only ( create incidents ) when users try to copy anything to their USB from the endpoint. Please tell me how to create this policy or kindly share any article that explains this process.

installing it as an Administrator, elevated cmd prompt?

Rafeeq I am doing it as an administrator but still no good. 

James my installation script is the same as mentioned by you. Please have a look at my installation script

In your script you don't have mention port no.

 PORT="8000"

 

Alright let me modify the script and I am going to update you in few minutes

if its 8000 you dont need to mention the port, anything other than that port you need to mention in the cmd

James Even after copy pasting your script it still prompts for the EndPoint Prevent IP and Encryption password during the installation when I execuate AgentInstall 

Rafeeq the problem still exist please tell me how can I fix this, I have also pasted my script which I am using but it prompts me for EndpointPrevent IP address and Encryption password when I run AgentInstall.

 

DLP version is 12.0

What to do next to fix this ?
