  • 1.  DLP Agent Upgrade - Incident Retention

    Hello everybody

    I am currently planning an upgrade of DLP 11.6.3 to DLP 14.6MP1.
    On the back-end, everything is alright.
    Since we also have DLP agents installed on our workstations, questions arised if incidents that are being generated during the upgrade (and thus without DLP servers running) will be sent to the upgraded environment after upgrading the DLP agents.

    Unfortunately, I was not able to find any information on this.

    Does anyone have an idea?

    For 11.6.3 to 14.5 the answer is no as the agents are not compatible. Symantec DLP only guarentees compatibiltiy one major version back from the current version. As there is no DLP 13, this means that DLP 14.x is compatible with 12.x agents but not 11.x.
