  • 1.  DLP Endpoint Agent for Linux?

    Symantec,

    Will there ever be a Data Loss Prevention Endpoint Agent for Linux? Is it in ANY futire DLP product version roadmap or feature request?

    If so, can you provide any guidance on what Linux platforms will most likely be supported?

    Currently the DLP Endpoint agent is only supported on Windows computers.  In an upcoming release there will be support for doing Endpoint Discover on Mac and then later will be Endpoint Prevent.  Not sure how difficult it would be to port the DLP Endpoint agent from Mac to Linux?

    If you would like to see this feature added to DLP in the future, you will need to contact your Sales Rep to generate a new Enhancement Request, or you can also open a Support Ticket for the same reason.
