Hello,

First at all, i'm very new in DLP, in our current enviroment, we have 3 servers.

"Enforce Server" version 14.0.0.05018

"Network Prevent" for Email version 14.0.0.05018

"Endpoint" version 14.0.0.05018

Now, we want implement Network Monitor, and Network Prevent for Web.

We use too Blue Coat ASG-S200-30 Version:ASG 6.6.3.2

The questions are:

1) Network Monitor and Network Prevent for Web can be installed on Virtual Machines?

2) Is needing an upgrade to the version to 14.6? Because i don't know if ASG 6.6.3.2 is compatible with version 14.0.0.05018?

Q1. From the Systems Requirement Guide:

■ Endpoint Prevent on a virtual server is supported only for configurations that do not exceed the recommended number of connected agents (I think the count here is less than 2500 clients per server)
■ Symantec does not support running the Network Monitor on virtual machines.
■ Network Prevent can be installed on a virtual machine

Q2. Upgrade to 14.6 is necessary only if you wish to use the Cloud Connector and leaverage the Bluecoat Threat Pulse on cloud. For an inhouse Bluecoat deployment, upgrade to 14.6 is not required (as long as your Bluecoat device allows ICAP forwarding/configuration - check with Bluecoat support)
