  • 1.  DLP Outlook Plugin Fail to Install

    I enabled the Outlook plugin in our enviornment for some pilot users. I noticed today that a very small number of users failed to have the Outlook Plug-in installed successfully. If the Outlook plugin fails to install, does anyone know if it retries it again? If so, when does it retry the install of the plug-in?

    Hello,

     

    Probably the users had the Outlook open when you launched the installation. Anyway the agent will be trying to install the plugin for the outlook if the machine is active. 

    To avoid such issues the best is if you launch an agent package that also closes Ms.Office apps.
