I have implementation for symantec DLP Soon but i can test only Endpoint module at mylab , however i cannot rest of modules (  Network Prevent for Email  , Network Prevent for Web , Network Monitor  , Network Discover , Mobile for web and email )
    so my questions:
    - is there any kind of videos or PDF that explain implementation integration steps specially for email and web as Email_Prevent_MTA_Integration_Guide is not shwoing MTA configuration part.
    - where to download MTA agents
    - any scenarios or policy templates is can download to test.

I recommend reaching out to the specific vendors of your MTA for configuration questions.  In Email Prevent there are basically two options, forward on to the next MTA in the chain, or send the message back to the MTA that sent the message to the detection server.

If you need to configure the MTA for special message handling, refer to the vendors documentation.

    Good luck!

MTA is not an agent it is a TYPE of Mail Gateway. It is also called the Next Hop email server...etc

Postfix, Exchange, Proofpoint, Ironport, and all sorts of other mail products are considered MTA's. Postfix is open source.

So when it comes to configuring one, it all depends on the SW.

" a message transfer agent or mail transfer agent (MTA) or mail relay is software that transfers electronic mail messages from one computer to another using a client–server application architecture."

Overall you will need to know more about Email Architectures in order to really understand this.

    Good Luck,

    Ronak

    Please Marked solved when possible.
