  • 1.  DLP/DAR detection criteria for files containing Passwords

    Any one using regex/Data Identifier/Keywords to identify files in sharefolders containing passwords? I'm planning to use some Keywords with regex (alphanumeric with optional special characters -  8 to 15 characters long). I'm looking suggestions from someone having experience using such detection criteria or have batter approach for it..Thanks

    You can look at a policy template for Passwords.. it does NOT work well And will cause a ton of flase positives.

    You can try to look for "password" or "account" or the combination of the 2, but keep in mind that if youuse it on Network, it will be triggered by most web pages.
