  • 1.  [DLP][DLO] DLP Agent and DLO Agent slow performance on Laptops and PC

    Hello everyone,

    I'm setting up a DLP Endpoint Server only. However, the pool of computers' using DLO Agent. 

    The performance overall is very slow and I can't help to notice DLO Agent hangs up from time to time.

    I already add the LDUF path to exclusions on DLP Agent Configuration Monitoring. However, I still got a slowness issue.

    Has anybody gone through this setup? Any recommendations for best performance?

    Hi,

     

    Have you tried to exempt DLO file and backup path from the policy? Check DLP endpoint logs for you to see if DLP scan DLO backup

    Hi Doraemon,

    I add the LDUF path for ignore monitoring on DLP Agent configuration, however, I don't see any difference. Computer installed with a agent is completely slow and DLO UI can't even open. 

    Any other exception I should consider for DLO?

    Can you exclude filenames in DLO??

    The Agent installation folder (default location) C:\Program Files\Manufacturer\Endpoint Agent 
    edpa.exe
    wdp.exe 
    cuil.exe
    kvoop.exe
    vfsmfd.sys
    vrtam.sys
    cui.exe in the Windows\System32\ folder.

    It is recommended to exclude the following processes
    edpa.exe
    wdp.exe
