Do we really need Icap Protocol to scan the files ?

    Hi,

    I have downloaded the Symantec Protection Engine the windows version and gone thorught the document and the Sample JavaFile.

    I couldnt see any implementation or functionality relating to ICAP way of calling the Scan engine. #

    It was just ScanEngine object thats doing the scan.

    Can you please let me know when and why we need the ICAP way of invocation.
