    Does delete on abandonment delete the server side connection straight away? As a result of the termination of TCP connection at the client's side.

    Dear Wasfi,

     

    Delete on Abondment specifies that if all clients who may be simultaneously requesting a particular object close their connections before the object is delivered, the object fetch from the origin server is abandoned, and any prior instance of the object is deleted from the cache.
