The latest version should work, as long as the drive is not Opal 2 compliant, or otherwise self-encrypting, and follows all of the other requirements here:

I ended up decrypting, unistalling, updating OS to Win10, then reinstalling the encryption software and reincrypting.

According to the Symantec tech support, there is a script that allows the upgrade without going through the entire process, but it is time consuming. The tech advised me that since we have stand-alone machines, it is not worth the effort, just do what I did in the opening paragraph.

Partition encryption is "partially" working on a Thinkpad Yoga X-1 (NVMe Samsung 512 GB). Partially in the sense that data partition was encrypted / decrypted successfully, but UEFI boot is not working after Symantec Destop Encrytion modified the EFI boot partition. Version used: 10.3.2 MP 13 (build 21495). This issue actually prevent to boot the machine. I had to restore the EFI partition using original files to make the machine booting again, then the data partition can be open from Windows 10 user session. If Windows system pratition is encryted, machine will be unbootable.

Tested also with a Dell Latitude E7250, no issue at all. Works well.

Do other Symantec encryption producuts such as Endpoint Encryption support Opal 2 SEDs?

If not, does Symantec have any plans to support NVMe Opal SSDs in the near future?

I'm using Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon with NVMe Samsung 256Gb. Only Partition can be encrypted. And BootGuard not recognise my eToken on this ultrabook. Before i'm try encrypt disk on Sony VAIO with this eTocken - all good. On X1, when pressing Ctrl-Enter in BootGuard, led on token not flashing, and boot not started.
