    SEP protects against threat based on its signature. Truscan and heuristic are behavioral based.  Usually it is recommended by any AV vendor to close the open shares( if not required).

    SEP has feature of IPS, this will enhance the security feature to have threat ( again signature) being infected.

    yes because sep has autoprotect ability to scan all passive executable files,
