  • 1.  Does SWS support SQL 2012 SP2?

    We recently installed Workspace Streaming with SQL 2012 database. My DBA's are wondering if they can upgrade the database server to 2012 SP2. Does anyone know if this is supported or has anyone upgraded their SWS DB to SP2 yet?

    It's not supported

    Streaming Databases:

    • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP4, 2008 R2 SP1, 2008 R2 Express, 2012
    • Oracle 10g, 11g, RAC

    I know Symantec's typical stance on this is that it probably will work they just haven't completed testing to validate, at least that's what I got after talking to a couple of the product guys at Vision this year.
