    Running DoScan.Exe

        e.g.)  DoScan.exe c:\temp\test.txt

Brings up a Results Dialog, with title "Manual Scan started on <date time>", when the file is clean.

Is it possible to run DoScan.exe silently, without the dialog?

A silent option does not exist:

I have tried changing the registry entry below to 0.

      HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\AV\LocalScans\ManualScan\DisplayStatusDialog

However, this setting does not seem to apply to DoScan.

    Other ideas?

I found a script you could modify and give it a try:

Seems to map a drive to the computer name that you specify.
