    Hello all....

I have just finished migrating and upgrade SEPM to 11.0.5002.333 over the weekend and apart from losing mammoths amounts of sleep due to "unable to connect to the reporting component" (which is now fixed), I have a question.

As part of my architecture, I have 2 High Available SEPM servers running Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit with SQL 2008 SP1 (with Cumulative Updates 1-4) and the failover seems to work just wonderfully!

I have just added to Scheduled Reports and received a report from each of the Servers - is there any way to set up the reports so only the "Primary" server handles them? I really don't feel like getting double the reports each week...

If I have missed something obvious, let me know (the brain is functioning at half capacity today)...

    Regards,

    Chris Bulovic

p.s By the way, the Reporting components error for anyone that has it - use the ODBCAD32.exe and try the following - under "Which SQL Server do you want to connect to?" I had the name of my server SERVER, which I would have thought would be dandy...all connection tests were successful except for the same error.

I then tried this under the server field SERVER\SEPM (that's the name of my instance - SEPM) and wouldn't you know it....it started working.

I think at the time of replication, the scheduled reports are getting replicated as well.

I would suggest you to delete the scheduled report after the replication has finished.

Also, when you add a scheduled report, you can click on "Edit Filter" and choose which site you want the report on.

    Best,

Thanks Aniket - the Edit Filter was the one I was looking for and missed :)
