Hi 

after upgrade sepm 12.1 MP7 to 14 MP1 i got report from almost client their pdf and word files opening got very slow , so upgrade it to 14 MP2 and that was same till i disable auto protect option it worked randomly , i decide to downgrade client to previous version (12.1)  , i create a bat file to uninstall sep client 14 and it uninstalled successfully and after that try to deploy sep package 12.1 through SEPM  it also successfully deployed but it didn't shown in sepm console , i check SEP_Inst log and it told me the newer version installed and roll backed , as a test i ran cleawipe and after that package installed successfully , i confused about it beacuase i removed sep 14 , please help me 

SEPM ENV : windows 2012 R2 DC

Client ENV : windows 7 32Bit 

Hello,

In this case, you would have to uninstall the older version completely. In case, there are any left over files, in that case, you face issues like that.

I would suggest you to ensure you have the bat file is proper.

I hope you had restarted the machine.

Post the full SEP_INST.log file.

Additionally, you should open a case with support on MP2 so they can see what the problem is.

Noticed error status 1603 in your log file there. Below is a link to what symantec say about that error.
