  • 1.  Driver could not be added to preboot OS

    Once in a while I run into the message "Driver could not be added to preboot OS" when adding drivers to Driver Database Management. Can someone tell me what log file I can look at in order to see the reason why?

    go2guy,

     

    On occasion the Ghost Solution Suite console may not like how the driver is structered and fail to upload through the uploading tool. This does not mean that this driver is invalid though.

    I would first try clearing the %TEMP% directory and then attempt to upload once more. Sometimes restarting GSS helps as well.
