  • 1.  Edge not complying with policy

I have a group of computers that have all but a few websites restricted through a sepm policy that was created using TECH92097 as a pattern. I have included Internet Explorer, Chrome, & Edge. The executable for Edge is listed as microsoftedge.exe. I have a Win10 computer that won't comply with the policy rules. On this computer Chrome behaves and does what it is supposed to do. Edge will let the end user go everywhere I have asked it to. How do I get Edge under control?

Are you sure it's not using a different executable name?

    Check another executable, MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe

I stopped by there this morning after checking what was running when edge was started I found microsoftedgecp.exe was also running. I have added that and resolved the edge problem.

All of the computers in that group were having problems accessing allowed sites. I checked the policy and nothing has changed. How can I discover what is wrong?
