  • 1.  EDPA.exe error

    Hello,

    I was wondering if someone can help me. Symantec is throwing up an edpa.exe error and freezing up a uses laptop.

    Does anyone know of a solution or failing that what - if any - logs I should be looking at that might point me in the right direction?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi,

    I believe the fastest way to fix this is to reinstall the agent as this is occuring on one of the systems. Or else you need to contact the Technical  Support for edpa crash analysis.

    The simplest way to get the logs is to run a log collection from the console and then run a log collection on the endpoint server that the agent is connected to.  You can also set the log level from the console.  There is a way to do it manually from the workstation, but it is much harder.
