  • 1.  Email issue - 501 Connection rejected by policy [7.7]

    Hello Symantec team,

    Judging from this forum, I'm not alone with this issue. We have a number of clients who are unable to receive emails from us due to blacklisting. I've submitted this case via email and heard nothing despite it being more than the 7 business days I was told it would take. I've also submitted this via the online IP check and haven't heard back despite that tool saying 24 hours for a response.

    We have SPF records, DKIM signing, DMARC records, PTR records, etc. so I'm not quite sure why we're being flagged as spam. We do send our clients PDF invoices but we've never sent any marketing materials from that server and maintain a SenderScore of 99/100. 

    If someone at Symantec could look into this, I'd grealty appreciate it.

    Submit a sample of the email that's getting blocked to:

    I did that on November 29th. The link you sent me said its 7 business-days for a review. I'm curious as to why I haven't heard anything back yet.

    Is there any way to get help with this issue? I submitted the emails for review 20+ days ago and havent received any word. I've had this forum post up for 10 days and gotten no real replies either.

    If there's anyone who can help resolve this issue, please contact me.

    I have the same problem, I also send email to investigation since 3 dec but no any response, and ip still blocked by messagelabs

    The error message is 

    host cluster8.us.messagelabs.com [216.82.251.44]
        SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection:
        501 Connection rejected by policy [7.7] 20007, please visit 
    www.messagelabs.com/support for more details about this error message.

    When I follow the url  www.messagelabs.com/support it redirect to www.symantec.com and no any menu that relate to the problem.

    have to search from google and found this forums and found that I have to send email to investigation that I follow but no any response.

    My IP: 103.22.181.103
