    Hello all,

    I've a problem with Email Prevent. In the Enforce portal, the status of Email Prevent is Unknown.

    I don't know how to troubleshoot to solve the problem.

    Nadia,

    Log into the server that has Email Prevent installed.

    Do you see if the VontuMonitor Service is running.. - if not start it.

    If it is running - restart it 

    You will then need to make sure that the Firewall between the Enforce Server and Email Prevent server is open on port 8100. (Open Bi-Directional)

    Hello,

    Check the monitorcontroller_operational_0.log to see what append. (in /var/log/Symantec or /vontu/Protect/logs)

    Problem solved by changing the Java Heap memory size in vontomonitor file config like that

    # Initial Java Heap Size (in MB)

    wrapper.java.initmemory = 1024

    wrapper.java.maxmemory = 2048

     

     

    Then re-adding Email prevent server using enforce portal.

    And finally rebooting enforce server.

    Hope this will help others having the same problem.
