I just purchased Symantec Encryption Desktop for Mac to use with Outlook 2016 for Mac (company email account is Exchange based). The intent is such that I can send and receive encrypted or signed emails. However, after installing the product and try to test for sending signed or encrypted emails, I get the error message saying that I need to install a valid certificate. I already created a key pair in the Symantec product. What certificate I need to install?

    Hi Dong,

You will need to use Internet Standard protocols to connect to Exchange, i.e. IMAP/POP/SMTP. The usual protocol (MAPI) is proprietary from Microsoft and is not supported on Mac.

Ay other certificates might be the mail server certificates.
