I have been using Symantec encryption with outlook and internal company mail : works fine

I now need to use it with an external mail provider. for this I want to use Thunderbird.

    I did configure everything :

    • Sending encrypted mail works fine
    • If I send encrypted mail from my outlook account to the thunderbird one : works fine : PGP message is decoded.
    • If I receive an encrypted from someone else : it works fine when I receve it on starting thuderbird
But if I am already connected on thuderbird and then receve the message ; message is not decrypted !

    Any idea ?

Some detail on my configuration :

    On thunderbird side :

    • Server : IMAP
    • port : 143
    • connexion security : none
    • autentication : password not secured

    On symantec :

    • serveur tipe : internet
    • serveur name : *
    • protocol IMAP
    • port 143
    • SSL/TL : SSL required

    Thanks

    one linked question :

If I cannot find solution in just configuration :

is it possible to use gpg4win and enigmail for thunderbird without it interfering with symantec encryption desktop ?

or to configure enigmail to use encryption desktop ?
