I'm testing out the trialware of Symantec Endpoint Encryption in a managed environment.
I'm working with a Dell m3800 that won't encrypt. SATA operations are in AHCI mode and TPM is on. I am using Symantec to encrypt, not BitLocker. Everytime I try to encrypt, be it from the management console, command line, or client GUI, I recieve the error "Encryption/decryption process interrupted by user request." I'm wondering if this is a hardware issue, but I can't be sure. I am able to run the decrypt command from the command line and the operation stops and removes the disk from the encryption "queue" so I can retry the encryption process again.
