    Hello.

    I'm using PGP Messaging, but I don't know if it works the way it is described on the page #9 of the following document: https://www.symantec.com/content/dam/symantec/docs/white-papers/buyers-guide-email-encryption-en.pdf

    ... or if by default it works like it is described on the page #8.

    If you are encrypting the data on your computer, and it stays encrypted until the person on the receiving computer uses PGP software to decrypt it, that is end to end encryption.

    Other types of encryption would occur with a Symantec Encryption Management Server or some other server in the middle that takes a regular message and encrypts it. But if you're using standalone Symantec Encryption Desktop or PGP desktop, you're doing end to end encryption.
