  • 1.  Endpoint blocking .exe files

    I am having an issue with Endpoint Manager blocking access to .exe files.  People can't print or run any executables.  I can't even open the management console becasue it is blocking javaw.exe from running or accessing any files.  How can I disable this so I can get into the manager and fix this issue?

    Sounds like something in the application control policy was changed? You may need to remove SEP or try accessing the SEPM via the web console.

    Hi Nola26,

    Thansk for the post.  Can you elaborate on "blocking .exe files"?  Do you mean SEP is detecting them?  What messages do you see and what's in the logs?

    Did you use Fingerprint for applications? If so, this might have changed and caused for these applications to be blocked.
