Trying to great a software package using the Endpoint Protection Integration.  I get an error that it failed and check the Altiris Logs.  When I check the Altiris Log Viewer I get this error:

    Source:  Altiris.EndpointProtectionIntegration.Web.SepPackage.CreateSepPackage.CreateFolderIfNotPresent
Description: Symantec Endpoint Protection Integration::Failed to create directory for package.

I have checked permission on the folder.  I am guessing it is trying to add it to the Software Share???

Can you explain the steps you are taking? Properly created the package should appear in your software library.

For some reason when I tried created the software package from the .exe file located on a network drive it kept giving me permission issues.  When I copied the .exe to the server itself it created the package.  The componet puts it in another spot then the software lib.  Not sure why but I think maybe that is by plan?

I did see problems while attempting to create a SEP package in Altiris while the .exe file was on a network drive. I had to copy it locally.

I also assumed (apparently  incorrectly) that it would place the final file, when created, in the software library. If it doesn't, I apologize for the incorrect information.
