I have the misfortune of downloading and installing the trial version (not a free version, the trial version...you know the stuff you get because you do want to buy it) of Endpoint, which seems to cause packet drops from incoming callers on our VOIP (3Cx) system. Its made our system useless as callers go silent for 1 -2 second on random occassion every 15 - 30 seconds
I uninstalled the software but it still happens and support at Symantec have advised that as its a trial version, they dont support it. They expect me to buy it, then they will help me. (Where do these guys do there business degrees? The public service 101?)
Anyway, I have been told that you need special software to toally remove it...a product called Cleanwipe apparently.
Can someone please help me with this so I can move on with my life and go to an organisation that has a sane customer service policy?
Thanks
