on the new one i can push the latest endpoint to my clients , it installed without problems BUT even after installing the new software from the new server they always pointing to the old mamagment server , i can only let them point to the new server if i uninstall the previous symantec enpoint client before .

    1) This is the endpoint management (Altiris) not SEP Forum. I will gladly move this for  you.

    2) There are a number of ways to migrate the clients, see below.

    Migration (KB Article)

Migration Discussion (Forums) - lots of possible methods\issues covered here

Regardless, you are almost certainly going to have to change the sylink.xml file the clients are using.

    Hello,

Have you installed the New Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager as Replication Partner?

Are you going to disconnect the old server?

Follow this steps provided in the Article:

How to update Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager certificates without breaking server/client communication

SYLINK.xml is the file which has the server info; if your two SEPM are active then you can add the management server list

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/2326c6a13572aeb788257363002b62aa/e2ac3b646ae21969882573c20063533f?OpenDocument

or just to replace the sylink you can use this tool
