hello! very appreciated all the answers!
So i run the chkdsk /f and then run cleanwipe. The Cleanwipe did not remove all the symantec folders, which i found very weird. But the customer managed to remove Symantec Ednpoint Protection folder manually. Now when reinstalling from cd, the installer starts loading...but after a while, it rolls back and finish installation as failed to start.
No more error 1053 is displayed.
And yes, i wonder if a new version would show this problem. I should recommend him to try it and see if the same problem shows up. If it shows up, i would guess then that it is a problem of hard drive...if no other suggestion appears!
