Endpoint Protection

I have just uninstall SEP 12.1 due to it is not runnung our company configuration. 

While install SEP 12.1.4013, it show Error 2343 (Specified path is empty).

I had restart and used CleanWipe. After start again and installing the SEP 12.1.4013, it show me the same error.

Any idea what should I do?

Where can I find the SEP_INST,log and SIS_INST.log files?

Here is the SEP_inst.log, But i can't find the SIS_inst.log.

Any previous version of Symantec or any third party AV installed?

Does it work if you install any previous version of SEP? do you have any restriction on folders / files especially cache folder?

few more steps

1. Open Regedit.exe and browse to the following key:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
2. Click Shell Folders and verify that the values on the right side refer to local paths that currently exist.
3. Click User Shell Folders and verify that the values on the right side refer to local paths that currently exist.

and try the manual uninstall  of SEP

Still does not work. 

I notice that when I join the laptop to my network, my SEP server will auto install a version of SEP which not what I am looking for.

Therefore, I will uninstall the old SEP which is running on 12.1.4013.4013, follow by restart and resintall the desire 12.1.4013.4013. This issue will take place.

The walk around I had is install the SEP before joining the network. 

Did you try installing the client as unmanged? like running the setup.exe from CD1\SEP folder
