File Share Encryption

Received a BSOD and have tried pgpwde --recover --disk 1 numerous times to access the drive by USB so the data can be recovered. Contacted support and have tried to follow up via email with no response for weeks now. I am not sure how to go about using a boot disk and putting the old drive back in the laptop or can use any additional help here on what steps to take and get the data off the old drive.

You may want to use the WDE Recovery CD for decryption of the disk.  If you do, be aware that it can take up to a few days based on size of the disk (it is 16 bit processing), it must not be stopped once started until complete, and that when is shows 0% still encrypted, there is actually 1% remaining - do not stop until it says decryption is complete.
