Every time I try to install Symantec Endpoint Protection Version 12.1.2 MSU Student Version, I get the message "Installation Wizard Completed The wizard was interupted before Symantec Endpoint Protection Client could be completely installed". I bought this disc from my school's computer store and followed the directions that lead me to this screen. I've tried deleting my previous antivirus program (Macfee) and disabling the windows defender to try to install but no luck. My computer would run the 64 bit version (the 32 bit won't work). I use a Dell Inspiron 15 that runs Windows 8. Any help?
Is this Windows 8 or 8.1?
Disable Windows Defender and remove KB 2781197and try again. This was a known issue, see here:

Since it's Windows 8.1, the version of SEP that you're trying to install is not supported. Windows 8.1 is only supported on 12.1.4 and higher.
