  • 1.  ESM Policy Run data is missing

    Hello all:

Has anyone else run into this issue?  We are running ESM 9.0.325, and used to be able to see Policy Run data from back into mid-2010.  Just this week, something has changed and now the Policy Run data only goes back to early February 2011.

Is it possible that an administrator inadvertantly caused this problem?  Is there any way to get those old Policy Runs to show up again in the ESM Console?

Thanks all and have a great holiday..

    Hello Paul,

At first It appears the data from ESM Manager did not get pulled by the ESM Console. First simply disconnect the ESM Manager and connect back. Check if you can see the data now. If you cannot see it then most probabaly the manager purged those as per database purge settings.

One way to check or change this is by editing the ESM Manager properities (right click on the manager name and select properties sub-menu at the bottom). Under the properties select the "options" tab. In here check if any of the manager database purge values are possible cause for the non-reporting of historic data. Change them as per your requirement, if you are authorized to do so or get in touch with ESM administrator for the same.

    Hope this helps.
