    Hello,

    How do we exclude specific files for ex:*.tmp under perticular folder in SEPM.

    Endpoint does not allow the use of wildcards.

    If you have below issue .tmp you can configure beloow setting

    DWH***.tmp files are detected in the user profile temp directory.

    We have done many exclusion,my question here is,

    Is it possible to exclude the some files for example:*.tmp..(if it is full path of the file SEPM is accepting)if it *.tmp in specific folder,how do we add.

    *.tmp (*) wildcards not possible in Endpoint.

    Not possible. Either you can add the extension or file or folder.

    You need to put in the full path, wildcards are not accepted.

    Hi,

    SEP does not allow the use of wildcards. For more information regarding wildcards see the document below.

    SEP provides predefined variables called prefix variables for file and folder exceptions. These variables allow you to make exceptions without typing the full path.
