Are all of the DLP services running on the offending box?

Have you enabled advanced process control to be able to see this?  Go to System -> Settings -> General and then when you click on Configure there should be a check box for Adbanced Proess Control.  Enable this and you should be able to see all of the process and which ones are started/stopped and which ones aren't.

Let us know what else we can do to help

Where things working at one point?  If so what has changed?  Are you getting this error on the Enforce server?  Are all the servers running on the ENforce server?  Have you tried rebooting the box?  All things I would start out with

I just had this occur last week and I had to restart the Network Discover server and the Enforce server.  Not just restarting services... reboot the whole server.

What Operating System again are you running on these servers?

If you are running Windows Server 2008 R2 or above you need to change the Data Execution Protection settings are set to Windows Services not the default setting of specify the settings or whatever it is.  If you change those settings you will have to reboot.

Let me know if that works.
