  • 1.  Failed to detect Verity format

    We are running Brightmail (5.0.1, patch 87 and 89) on a linux (RH) platform

    filter-hub: [Brightmail] (ERROR:7673.2787896240): [57001] Gatekeeper module: Test message: Failed to detect Verity format.

    Now that I have the error, not sure how to fix it. Again thanks for all your help.

    Thats not Brightmail, thats Mail Security for SMTP 5. You are better off calling support becuase we don't have any documentation about how to fix that error.

    Mart50:  SMS SMTP v5 will end-of-life this year.  I recommend you look at Sym Brightmail 9.0.20.  You can experiment in VMware player, or VMWare ESXi
