  • 1.  False number of available packages in NS Console

    Hello,

    we run an environment with 18 package servers. In NS Console 6.5 when selecting "Configure - Package Servers - Package Servers Setup" I get a list of the servers.

    I get three different counts of available Packages. Only the lowest number is correct. The other value is about 700 too high and the 3rd one is about 1200 over the actual count. 

     

    I have tried to find a hint about that issue but was not successful so far. Any ideas?

    It could be that the SMP server has data in the database that needs to be cleaned out.  Look at http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO1108 in the 4th section there is a query that should help.
