    I am trying to create an image of Vista Enterprise PC. I am using Dell GX745 computer. I am using Windows 2003 server as console PC.  I installed Ghost Solution 2.0 (Ghost console 11.0.01502) on the server and I did Remote Client Install to install to install client install on the Client PC. I was able to see my PC on Dynamic Machine Group. I created image Definition and include Sysprep file. I created the Image Task with appropriate settings. I can see the communication between the client and the console server but Image Crating Task fail. Following is the log:

     

    Event details: To Virtual Partition

    The file system for this client’s Virtual Partition could not be created or mounted

     

    Any help will be greatly appreciated

    I had same problem and solved. Go to bios setup and change NIC to PXE option and save and boot the pc. It will solve your problem.
