After upgrading to 8.1 MU2 loading filters, groups, etc when creating filtering rules the web console either sits blank or I have to reload the page.  Sometimes it will load but will take several minutes (5-6) to load the 3 columns (exclude, filter, actual filter).

I have tried directly from the NS, SQL Server and several workstations.  Ping times are good and none of the resources are even making a blip in Task Manager.  Anyone else have performance issues in the console after the MU2 upgrade?

Previouslly it worked faster? Same settings on this place when "All Resources" are chosen for this rule? Or you've used "All Assets" for such rule?

Yes, previously it was about much faster. 1 min to load the window and all fields.  Now it is about 30-45 seconds just to open the window and holds about the same time frame for each column after the "Then" where it shows "excluded from". Next another 45 seconds to 1:15 seconds for the next field where "Filter" is and then the last column is where the actual filter goes which is about 2 mins min.  Event que is processing normally and nothing looks to be hung up as well.

Other pages load fine, such as Manage Computers, Reports and even viewing the filters from Manage\Filters they open almost instantly.

Ran NS.SQL defragmentation schedule in Task Scheduler only after Igor looked at the results I sent from Altiris Profiler.

Is this happens with all filters or only the customs?

It can be the SQL code, isn't it? Have you tested the same code on SQL Admin Studio?

    Regards,

The NS.SQL defrag fixed the issue.  It was set to only run once in the scheduler, but yes this was happening on all the filters.

"NS.SQL defragmentation schedule.{cdcd50e9-1c42-402b-921c-8ad6c9ff0d34}" scheduled task execution on NS machine solves this performance problem with Resource Target builder opening.

By default this scheduled task doesn't have repeation so you can set to execute it 1 time per 1 week - Weekly.
